Sunday March 30, 2014 -- Missed

I had every intention of waking up and going for a walk today. It was sunny and lovely and definitely walking weather. That being said, I hate my phone.

The two are connected, I swear.

My phone is through Virgin Mobile. I'm grandfathered into the plan, so I only pay their $25/month currently. If I upgrade my phone, I'm afraid I'll be stuck with their new bill of $35/month. Yes, it's only a $10 difference. But still. I like my cheap cell service! I get reception practically everywhere and I have free everything except minute and, really, who needs more minutes these days? Yay for text messages! But for the past 6 months or so my phone will go into this mode where it's "updating software." At least, that's what it's suppose to be doing. In reality, it's just sitting in ideal, sucking the battery life (even though it's plugged in it's not actually charging), and not letting my alarm go off or collect text messages. Thus my cellphone hatred.

So. It went into update mode (and to get out of this mode, I have to remove the battery and restart the phone. It left me with 6% battery life) and left me sleeping. I'm lucky I have a roommate because there's no way anyone could have really gotten a hold of me, otherwise. She woke me up with an, "Aren't you suppose to work tonight?" knock on my door. I cussed and sweared and hopped in the shower for a quick scrub. My roomie is best because she packed my lunch (which I thanked her for profusely). I was out the door in about 10 minutes after waking and was only about a minute late for work.

I guess that means I have to go for a walk when I get home in the morning.

Cheers!
LC
